Our style is the perfect blend of documentary + editorial photography and videography. We have been described as “fly on the wall” style of shooters, focusing on organic interaction. We believe that the true narrative of a wedding day is told through the in between moments. We also have a flair for the editorial - high fashion and emphasizing the details that make up your special occasion. Nothing goes unnoticed with a duo who understands the importance of a documentary eye with a splash of editorial.
digital + film - always
For us, film isn’t an “add-on”. Our couples come to us for our hybrid - digital + film - shooting style. That’s why all of our packages come with both digital and film photography. You can expect well over 1,000 images in your final gallery with about 25% of those being in film. Furthermore, we shoot both 35mm film and medium format (120), which gives you the best that the analog world has to offer. We capture all of our weddings on Sony’s flagship camera systems (digital), paired with the highly sought after Contax 645 and G2 systems (film).
two lead photographers
This one is BIG. When you invest in a photo + video package with us you are getting two lead shooters. This ensures that both the bride and the groom are being captured by a true professional. Not a “second shooter” or an assistant. Oftentimes, booking with another photographer means you are only getting them (a lead, solo shooter) to handle your day, while they bring on a second or assistant photographer to help them capture moments.
With us, your couple portraits are being captured perfectly all while those candid moments between family and friends during cocktail hour aren’t forgotten. When one of us is with the bride during her getting ready moments, the other is documenting the groom with the same care and attention to detail. This is one of the most overlooked aspects of hiring a photographer running their business alone.
